EPWT in Hanstholm
Hanstholm, Denmark, will host the EPWT event in 2025, with training days on May 13th and 14th and racing from May the 15th until the 18th.
With a history shaped by its coastal location, Hanstholm has long been a key maritime hub, from fishing traditions to its role in World War II as a strategic defense point. The town is home to Hanstholm Fortress, one of Northern Europe’s largest coastal fortifications, offering a glimpse into the past alongside its modern maritime infrastructure. This rich history, combined with Hanstholm’s strong winds and open waters, makes it a distinctive and fitting venue for the EPWT.
